Helping out aspiring models is part of my goal as a photographer. I've shot more than a handful who were so determined to get in front of the camera not just for headshots, but also with collaborated concepts to have in their portfolio.

Friend photographer, Sherwin Herana, introduced me to Andrea, who was looking for a photographer as I was looking for a model too. 

Concept and everything was setup. Here's what we produced. Started with headshots of course.

Meet The Milkshake Hotties

The Milkshake Hotties consists of young aspiring dancers. They are usually seen in several party clubs in the metro. 

A friend photographer asked me to join them do a group photo session. Photos will be used in the group's Facebook fan page.

Facebook Profile Pictures and Cover Photos

UPDATED! 

People select their best photos for their Facebook Profile Picture and Cover Photo. Those are the photos that they are (or could be) really proud of like an avatar or icon in early days. 

I've taken a lot of portraitures lately of friends and acquaintance peeps. They are happy with the results and so am I. One of my basis to know they liked the picture I've taken is when I see them use it as their profile picture or cover photo in their Facebook profile. 

Allow me to showcase some of them. 

Note: Some might not be using the photo any more, but I'm still glad they once used it. 

This is part of my achievements as a photographer. Paid or not, I know I'm damn good!

Photoshoot at Phil-Cosmetics Expo: 5th Pilipinas Ang Ganda Mo!

On the 1st day of September 2012, we did a photo shoot at an event entitled Phil-Cosmetics Expo: 5th Pilipinas Ang Ganda Mo! held at SM Megamall Mega Trade Hall in Mandaluyong City, Philippines. Ron Santos asked me to tag along. His friend, Emman Dela Rosa, who is a fashion clothes designer, invited him to come over for a photo op. 

It was a non-commissioned shoot, but the experience was worth the while. We were able to take some photos of the models before they hit the runway for the fashion show part of the expo. Without further ado, these are some photos from my set.

At the same time, we met The SodaSisters (Myka and Hannah) - two young talented siblings who hit the stage with their rendition of Nicki Minaj's tracks. Glad to have them in the photo shoot as well. Note: Actually their set came first before the models. They did well during the shoot.
